Founding Vision and Core Beliefs
ditto was founded on a simple but stubborn belief: the world doesn’t need more products — it needs more care. More intention. More companies willing to slow down, look closer, and create with a sense of responsibility that goes deeper than profit margins or market share.
We started ditto because we were tired of food that felt industrial, disconnected, and disposable. We wanted to build something different: a company that treats people, ingredients, communities, and the planet with the same level of respect. A company that believes small things matter, not as a slogan, but as a discipline.
Because how you do anything is how you do everything.
Our vision has always been to make plant-based indulgence that feels familiar, joyful, and deeply human. No performative wellness. No moralising. Just honest, intentional food that tastes good, feels good, and does good. Food that proves you don’t have to compromise pleasure to create something kinder.
What We Stand For
Made With Intention
We don’t rush what matters. We build from scratch, choose ingredients deliberately, and make things the long way. Because shortcuts show, and intention tastes better.
Nothing to Hide
People deserve to know what’s in their food and how it was made. We believe in plain language, open process, and showing our working.
Purpose Over Pride
Profit matters, but purpose matters more. We build systems that support people, uplift communities, and regenerate the environments we touch.
Joy Built In
We make playful products, but we take joy seriously. Delight, surprise and indulgence, these are not extras. They’re part of being human, and worth creating with intention.
Lead With Kindness
We treat our team, partners, and customers with compassion, honesty, and fairness. Not because it’s good PR, but because it’s who we choose to be.
Made Better
From recipe to process to finish, we pay attention. Every step matters, and we treat it that way. That’s how good food gets made.
Force for Good
We believe companies can be forces for good. That profit and impact can coexist. That growth doesn’t have to come at the cost of people or planet. Someone has to prove it. We choose to try.
